We're just a group of fellas who get together a couple a times a month to munch on popcorn, drink sody pop and watch the old “B” Western movies - like we did when we were kids a growin’ up. We wear our cowboy hats and boots, boo the bad guys and cheer for our heroes. We whoop and holler just like in the old days.
We realize that much of what we've received from our heroes and heroines that has kept us in good stead in terms of moral values over the years, is being lost to the younger generations. The ideals of courage, generosity, community spirit, consideration for others and gallantry toward the ladies are admirable traits and exemplify a standard of moral integrity and character that should never be forgotten and always be expressed.
The TRAIL RIDERS OF THE WEST endeavor to exemplify the ideals of good character, generosity and community spirit personified by the Heroes and Heroines of the Saturday Matinee Western Movies and Serials.
Each member strives to promote the memory of one who inspired him when he was young, and continues to make his life enjoyable.

DEDICATION
The TRAIL RIDERS OF THE WEST website is dedicated to the memory of Jack “Buck” Harding, TRAIL RIDERS OF THE WEST Founder and Foreman, and to the Cowboys, Cowgirls, Heroes, Heroines, Sidekicks, Villains and others who appeared in the “B” Westerns and Cowboy Serials during those wonderful Saturday Matinees of our youth.
